Turkey Trip Date 112107 - A Pizza Pie

is exactly what Sinzi wanted last Thanksgiving while we had a layover in Chicago. But I took her to the Sears Tower, and we ran out of time. And there ain't no deep dish in Spfld. This year we picked out our destination ahead of time (Gino's East) and I set aside a good 5 hours between our plane touchdown and our train departure. And we needed most of it:

1. 90 minutes from O-Hare to Gino's East
2. 90 minutes to order and eat it all
3. 60 minutes to waddle from Gino's East to Union Station in 40 degree rain.

Gino's East 45-minute pie prep wait presented a dilemma - should we or shouldn't we have an appetizer? I was leaning towards salad with the house dressing - Sinzi only wanted Buffalo wings.

We got wings....over a bed of fries..and the pizza. It was a pre-Turkey gorging.
