Paint chips...

...are too small. We made the leap and had the house painted as a side project to the re-landscaping. We picked "Madera" and "Paloma Tan." On the itty bitty paint chips they look like light tan and carmel tan to me. On the house I see yellow and orange.But it's growing on me and besides we're not changing it. Sinzi likes it - it's not toasty - its bright and attractive (especially to large bees which I suspect think the house is a giant flower).
We used Dunn Edwards paint - it's VOC free, made in the southwest and had zero fumes.
